S.2 is a Mini-Con from the Aligned continuity family.

S.2 (エスツー Esutsū) is the Arms Micron partner of Smokescreen. He's a copycat, did you know?

S.2 only appears in the Arms Micron Theater segments of the Japanese broadcast of Prime.

While hanging around in the Arms Micron Gym, S.2 approached B.H., who was annoyed by how casually the younger Micron was addressing him and demanded he speak more respectfully. S.2 argued that he was the best hunter in the universe and B.H.'s equal, which the elder Micron might have accepted if S.2 hadn't treated B.2 with utmost respect just seconds later. New Star Transformation! Enter Smokescreen! He later thought up a new Combo Weapon, the Stragy Gun, which annoyed B.H. further since he formed the bottom of the weapon while S.2 himself formed the top. Manmade Transformation! The Warrior of Destruction is Back On the final installment of Arms Micron Theater, S.2 fist-bumped B.H. before joining the rest of the Arms Microns in saying goodbye to the audience. Part of the eighth wave of TakaraTomy Prime toys, S.2 is available only with his larger partner, Smokescreen. He comes as an unassembled, unpainted "kit", using stickers for detail, and transforms from a humanoid robot into a crossbow. S.2 features two 5mm posts and a single peg-hole as part of the Arms Micron gimmick, allowing him to combine with other Microns to form bigger and more ridiculous "Combo Weapons" and "Super Combo Weapons".

The assembly instructions contain a minor error. The two rods connecting the backpack to the main body have a bulge in the middle, if one follows the instructions, the wings and the backpack end up on either side. For a better working result, the wings and the backpack must be on the same side, with the rest of the rods plugging into S.2 with the intended depth.

This mold was also used to make Jin and Timelines Stylor.

Notes

• You may have guessed it already, but S.2 copies B.2's naming style, with Smokescreen instead of Bumblebee.
• He also shares his Micron ID number with Shining R.A.. (The ID number M-38, on the other hand, is the lowest unused one, suggesting the number cast into his sprue may be an error.)
• Want more proof? He looks remarkably like Generation 1 Devcon in overall design, especially the head and right arm with the laser. This is presumably a roundabout reference to "The Gambler," which had the original Smokescreen hanging out with Devcon.
