| The name or term "Dixon" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Dixon (disambiguation). |

Buzz Dixon is an American writer best known for his work on the G.I. Joe cartoon, though he also worked on other Marvel/Sunbow projects for Hasbro properties, including My Little Pony, Inhumanoids, Jem & the Holograms and of course Transformers, specifically the Generation 1 cartoon. Dixon created Hector Ramirez, a character that he inserted into several of the above cartoons, thereby—he claims—uniting them into one universe. He also created Cobra-La, whose name he apologizes sincerely for.[1]

Notes
- Dixon appeared on an interview as a special feature for Kid Rhino's The Transformers Season 2 Part 2 DVD set.
- According to Dixon, he valiantly attempted to give Optimus Prime and Shipwreck (from G.I. Joe) cameos in My Little Pony: The Movie, only to have his efforts thwarted by Hasbro.
