- Crosshairs is an Autobot Targetmaster in the Generation 1 continuity family.
As the Autobot weapons supervisor, Crosshairs oversees the procurement and maintenance of a dizzying array of implements of death for his fellow Autobots. Long association with such machinery has made him meticulous and careful, possibly to a fault. Crosshairs will often refuse to fire his own weapon unless he's certain it won't miss.
Crosshairs enjoys a good relationship with his equally methodical Targetmaster partner Pinpointer, who is content to let Crosshairs call the shots.

Crosshairs eventually became disgusted with his role in the unending cycle of suffering, and quit his position as Weapons Supervisor to join Fortress Maximus as a front line warrior.
However, when stuff exploded on Nebulos, Fortress Maximus was all "Waah, I'm on fire, where did our guns go?" and Crosshairs was pressed back into service as the Autobots' armorer. How ironic!
