- Arachnicons are Transformers from the Aligned continuity family.
Arachnicons are a sub-type of Transformer with what humans would refer to as "spider-like" features. They apparently have a tendency toward multiple limbs and the ability to spin mesh steel webbing.

It was for some reason catagorized as surprising that Dr. Cogwheel was an Arachnicon. Transformers: The Covenant of Primus
