'''''Transformers Animated: The Cool''''' is a [[Manga|Japanese comic]] written and drawn by [[Naoto Tsushima]]. Transformers Animated: The Cool (トランスフォーマー アニメイテッド ザ・クール)is a Japanese comic written and drawn by Naoto Tsushima. It was serialized in Kerokero Ace, the first chapter debuting in the May 2010 issue. The Cool acted as a loose adaptation of its cartoon counterpart, primarily culling each installment's plot from an episode of the TV series and following the same general story arc. However, The Cool deviated from its source material considerably on most occasions; while following the same plots and boasting the same resolutions as the cartoon episodes, its stories acted as a different means to the same end. Several chapters were completely original, as well.

After completing its ten issue run, The Cool changed its title to The Cool Extra (ザ・クール・エキストラ) for three more issues and began telling stories taking place in between issues of The Cool (mainly, adapting episodes Tsushima initially skipped).
