Transformers CyberToy is an iPhone app published by Glu as a tie-in with the Revenge of the Fallen franchise. CyberToy is primarily a touch-puzzle game, where circles appear and are manipulated to transform a character from robot to vehicle. An "Action Figure" mode is also available, which is a 3D model of the character that can be panned around and placed in 4 different poses, as well as their vehicle mode. Each character has several "hot spots" that, when tapped cause various things to occur, from deploying and firing weapons, to turning on headlights. Tech Specs for each character are also viewable.
Characters
[edit]New characters are added when CyberToy is updated. As of December 25, 2009, the app includes the following characters:
Notes
[edit]- While pulling off surprising Show-accuracy in vehicle and robot modes (especially for a mobile game), the transformations are odd to say the least, with large parts of the selected mode simply appearing.
- With the iPhone OS 3.0, Bumblebee can dance to whatever music you have on your iPhone/iPod Touch. Cue "The Touch" or "Dare to Be Stupid".
