The name Bumblebee can refer to several different characters and publications:
- 1984 — Bumblebee, the yellow kid-appeal character from Generation 1. For a while he was known as Goldbug before going back to Bumblebee.
- 1984: For the Marvel Comics continuity version of the character, see Bumblebee (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity.
- 1984: For a summary of his G1 cartoon activities, see Bumblebee (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity.
- 2005: For the IDW Generation 1 continuity version of Bumblebee, see Bumblebee (G1)/IDW Generation 1 continuity.
- For toys of this character, see Bumblebee (G1)/toys.
- 2007 — Bumblebee, the voiceless yellow one-man franchise from the 2007 film.
- For this character in video games, see Bumblebee (Movie)/games.
- For toys of this character, see Bumblebee (Movie)/toys.
- For merchandise, see Bumblebee (Movie)/merchandise.
- 2007 — Bumblebee, the yellow kid-appeal character from Transformers Animated.
- 2008 — Bumblebee, later known as Goldbug, the evil Autobot spy/Seeker commander from Shattered Glass. Partially yellow, definitely not kid-appeal.
- 2010 — The Transformers: Bumblebee, an IDW comic mini-series set in the IDW Generation 1 continuity.
- 2010 — Bumblebee, the yellow kid-appeal character from Prime.
- 2011 — Bumblebee, the white backstabber from the Animated BotCon 2011 Attendee Lithographs.
- 2011 — Bumblebee, the Autobot brick-based kid-appeal being from Kre-O.
- 2012 — Bumblebee, the spring-loaded kid-appeal car from the Bot Shots game.
- 2012 — Bumblebee Sword, the Autobot Arms Micron from Prime.
- 2013 — The Transformers Spotlight: Bumblebee, an IDW comic published as part of the "Spotlight" series of one-shots.
- 2013 — Bumblebee, the yellow kid-appeal Autobot car and jet from Construct-Bots
"Bourdon" (French for "Bumblebee") was also the Québécois French name for Waspinator's original Beast Wars toy.
Bumblebee should not be confused with:
- IDW Goldbug, the Goldbug who was never Bumblebee.
- Bumper, Cliffjumper and Hubcap, who all had very similar molds and colors to the original Generation 1 Bumblebee, leading to confusions.
- The Wireless Automated Sales Person (or WASP for short), the Shattered Glass Autobot whose appearance is based on the Transformers Animated Elite Guard Bumblebee toy.
- Any other Kid-appeal character, especially the yellow ones.
- Stumble Bee
