IDW Generation 1 continuity

The Machination, through its Idea & Design Works Custom Wheels front in Fort Wayne, Indiana, bought some Ultralite-50 from Ultralite America, as did a garage in Beaver, Utah. With the alloy, The Machination created a decoy car to replace with Sunstreaker and fool his Autobot teammates into thinking that he was dead.

After the bait-and-switch, Jimmy Pink examined the decoy and found that it was made from Ultralite. With this information, he and Verity Carlo checked Ultralite America's records and found that the alloy was ordered by Idea & Design Works.
