The name or term "Shockwave" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Shockwave (disambiguation).
Shockwave is a Decepticon from the brick-based world of Kre-O.
"Algebra? Really?"

Shockwave uses math. For evil. He's cold, logical, and utterly without mercy.

And he can dance. Put on "Shake Your Bot Bot" and he will bust a finely-choreographed move like nobody's business.[1]

Fiction

Kre-O cartoon

During a robot dance competition, Shockwave was among the three judges, all of whom were Decepticons. Despite Bumblebee's phenomenal performance, he scored the Autobot at 1/2. For Starscream, despite awful technique and a nasty fall, he scored the Decepticon a 10². The commentator was skeptical. Bot Stars

He was present in the audience during Optimus, Bumblebee, and Megatron's boxing(?) match. He also cheered when Megatron lost... Last Bot Standing

He was among the minions who passed Megatron his presents during the holiday season. A Gift For Megatron

Kre-O webcomic

Shockwave was part of a massive Decepticon invasion force intended to ruin the Autobots' picnic. However, Optimus Prime plowed through them with his truck and left them scattered... and then left. Returning to the scene after.. ahem, taking care of some pressing business, Optimus gathered up the still-wiped-out Kreons, bound them up on a flatbed trailer, and took them to the picnic. Emergency! Hurry to the Base, Optimus!

Toys

Kre-O

Not having my own Kre-O set is highly illogical.
Available in the Megatron Kre-O kit, Shockwave is a one-eyed purple Kreon with a gun for a left hand. Interestingly, Kreon Shockwave's chest is orange, like Generation 1 Action Master Shockwave, while the lines in the orange section harken to Energon Shockblast's chest design.

The Autobot Command Center set comes with a Shockwave Kreon to put in the Autobot jail cell. He has a new deco based on Prime Shockwave.
