The arrival of the Angels also heralds the arrival of the Autobots.
Synopsis
The reappearance of the Angels on Earth has caused chaos. The assembled UN forces cannot damage the alien giants, so they are forced to turn to the clandestine organization, NERV, to head the anti-Angel operation. While the Angels advance on New Tokyo-3, Sky Lynx emerges from the sky, carrying Autobot warriors from Cybertron, who have come to investigate strange energy readings. Despite their confusion about the Angels, they swear to not allow a disaster like the Second Impact to occur again.
The NERV operations director, Misato Katsuragi, is bemused by the Autobots.
