The name or term "Sky Lynx" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Sky Lynx (disambiguation).
Skylynx is a Predacon from the Aligned continuity family.

Whether or not he's better than everyone else has yet to be decided.

Skylynx is a bitter and sour guy in comparison to his chuckle-head partner, Darksteel. While he may be the type of guy to throw a punchline once and while, he conducts a very stark delivery. Despite his horridly dull personality, he's fierce enough to handle himself in a battle, and is just ever so arrogant enough to color himself and the Predacons above any and all Autobots.

And, it's been decided... Yes, he is.

Following his return to Cybertron, Shockwave succeeded in bringing two new clones, Darksteel and Skylynx, online. The pair were put to work searching for more Predacon remains to continue the cloning experiments. It was while they were searching in what was once the Sea of Rust that they were happened upon by Ultra Magnus and Smokescreen. They attacked the pair, with Skylynx causing so much damage to Magnus that the Autobot was taken out of commission. Victorious, the two Predacons returned to Shockwave's lab, only to find Starscream less than happy that they'd revealed themselves to the Autobots.

Grrrr

More searching for fossils ensued, and the pair stuck gold when they discovered a Predacon burial ground. While they were collecting up the bones, Unicron arrived to raise an army of undead Predacons. Skylynx and Darksteel attacked him, only to prove no match for the dark god. They were later found there by Predaking, who swiftly asserted his leadership in combat, and led the pair into battle to assist the Autobots in fighting Unicron's horde of undead Predacons. They were successful in slowing the horde down long enough for Optimus Prime to defeat Unicron, causing the Terrorcons to disintegrate. The trio later tracked down Starscream, intending to exact some revenge. Predacons Rising

Part of the Prime: Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising line, Skylynx is a redeco of Skystalker, transforming into a thin winged dragon. The tip of his tail detaches to become a "mace" that can cover either robot hand. His wings also contain built-in pressure-launching discs that can swing forward to be used in robot mode. His robot hands are compatible with 5mm posts.
