| This article is about the Rescue Bots vehicle. For the Wings Universe Star Seeker, see Rolling Thunder (G1). |
- Rolling Thunder is a form of transportation from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Once, Rolling Thunder was a modest wooden go-kart built by Charlie Burns in his youth, but Charlie's son Cody has rebuilt it into a deluxe go-kart, with a state-of-the-art interior and custom frame. Unfortunately, it still has the same lawn-mower engine, so it doesn't go particularly fast, but speed isn't everything, right?

After Cody discovered the go-kart in a storage room, he used it to rescue Mr Harrison. With his dad's permission, he rebuilt it into Rolling Thunder and unveiled it to the Rescue Bots and the rest of his family, who were all suitably impressed. When he tried to use it as an emergency vehicle, it turned out to be sadly deficient—he arrived too late to help Mrs Neederlander with her cat, and its backfiring frightened Frankie Greene's dogs. With the help of some nanites from Doc Greene's lab, Rolling Thunder was soon turbocharged, but Cody discovered that the brakes were no longer sufficient to halt the kart, and he was forced to stop it with a pile of trash. After the nanites left the vehicle, Chief Burns drove it in circuits around the park. Cody on Patrol
