Mrs. Neederlander is an elderly resident of Griffin Rock. She has a cat named Mister Pettypaws and runs a quiet bed and breakfast.

As a young girl in 1939, Neederlander was walking along the road, carrying her pet cat, when she encountered two strangely-dressed children. When Mister Pettypaws went missing, Mrs. Neederlander thought he'd been abducted by the aliens that Huxley Prescott said were invading. She called the fire station, and Kade Burns and Heatwave found her cat up a tree. The Alien Invasion of Griffin Rock She almost had to rescue Pettypaws herself, but when the branch she was on broke, Heatwave caught her. She was not appreciative. When a lion later got stuck up the same tree, she alerted the Burns family. Walk on the Wild Side

After her cat got stuck up a tree again in the park and the emergency services were too slow to respond, Mrs. Neederlander was forced to retrieve him herself. Cody on Patrol Doc Greene and his daughter Frankie stayed at Neederlander's bed and breakfast after the Doc was fired from his post as lead scientist. The Other Doctor The MorBot "helped" get Mr. Pettypaws down from a tree by uprooting the entire tree. Neederlander was less than impressed. The Reign of Morocco

Mrs. Neederlander watched Doc Greene's technology demonstration at the Hall of Inspiration and was startled when he pushed a shopping trolly towards her. After he used the Minimizer to shrink the trolly, she picked it up, only for him to return it to its normal size by shooting it while she was still holding it. During heavy rain, she got Chief Burns to fetch Mister Pettypaws down from the statue of Horace Burns in the square, and was unimpressed when Heatwave almost ran over her cat. Little White Lies She had to call out the emergency services again when her cat was being chased by a vacuum cleaner. Prescott's Bots

Volunteering to take part in a Lad Pioneer nature hike, Mrs. Neederlander naturally brought her cat along. When the keys for the Buddy Bracelets were destroyed, she found herself permanently linked to Graham Burns, and consequently had to accompany him on a mission to round up snakes. She was able to use her snake charming skills to aid in capturing a king cobra, and the Buddy Bracelets were later disposed of via EMP. Buddy System Mrs. Neederlander entered her cat in a dog show, basically because everyone was too afraid to say no to her. While she was preparing to show off Mr. Pettypaws's trick, the flaming hoop fell over and set fire to the tent. She and her cat had to be hustled out by Cody Burns. Rescue Dog

Mrs. Neederlander became trapped in her car when the logs for the Midwinter Morning bonfire fell on it. She was put out when her car was badly damaged in the rescue, and insisted Chief and Chase drive her to her mountain cabin. On Midwinter Morning, she contacted the rescue team and had them deliver the loaves of bread that she'd baked for the townsfolk. Their deliveries went off without a hitch, and Mrs. Neederlander later turned over the mantle of Rider of Midwinter to them. The Riders of Midwinter She along with the rest of the town sought higher ground on Mount Griffin as the island began to sink, and cheered after the rescue team managed to save the town. At some point Mrs. Neederlander pledged not to ring the emergency line every time Mr. Pettypaws climbed a tree. She ended up calling anyway when a dozen or so copies of Mr. Pettypaws turned up and occupied the tree outside her house. Too Many Kades Mrs. Neederlander was among the people Chief Burns told to evacuate when the river flooded. Having loaded up her car, she was about to get in with her cat when she had to be saved from an incoming wall of water by Heatwave. Unfinished Business During Hurricane Opie, Mrs. Neederlander had to get Kade to rescue Mr. Pettypaws from his usual tree. No Place Like Dome

Chase observed Mrs. Neederlander knitting a hat for Mr. Pettypaws. More than Meets the Eye Mrs. Neederlander was a judge in the Griffin Rock Idol contest. I Have Heard the Robots Singing She and the rest of town had to work to keep the island in the air as they flew it from the Arctic back to Maine. Today and Forever

Mrs. Neederlander and her cat were abducted by the Velgrox along with the rest of town. After the rescue resulted in the revelation that the Rescue Bots were aliens, Neederlander cashed in on a bet she had with Huxley. New Normal While the townsfolk deliberated over what to do about the Rescue Bots, Mrs. Neederlander gave a stirring speech in defense of them as well as threatening to set Mister Pettypaws on them. The community opted to keep the Rescue Bots' secret. Bridge Building

After the third letter asking her to sell her property, Mrs. Neederlander complained to the rescue team. Parties unknown later attempted to force her out by planting an earthquake-making device on her property, but she still refused to sell. Vanishing Returns She attended the All Spark Day celebrations. When Boulder answered Mrs. Neederlander's advertisement asking for a landscaper, he found the job was actually just pulling weeds. Part-Time Heroes She attended a car race that was crashed by Blurr, Hot Rod Bot and attended Kade's coronation. King Burns She provided anchovies for the giant pizza the town created, however Chase insisted on holding them. Pizza Pi Party Mrs. Neederlander had to call in the rescue team when Mister Pettypaws got stuck atop a flag pole. Unfortunately what she got was Blurr and Salvage, though the pair did manage to get the cat down. Uninvited Guest

While taking a break in her cabin, Mrs. Neederlander ended up having to pursue Mister Pettypaws into a cave, where the pair were found by Heatwave, Cody, Frankie, and Kade. The group met up with the rest of the rescue team, and Mrs. Neederlander was quick to blame recent events on fairies. Once Upon a Time Mrs. Neederlander and her cat were almost run down by Blurr while crossing the street. The Need for Speed She was among the disgruntled townsfolk who met at the town hall to air their grievances, and later turned out at the hospital to greet Chief when he was discharged. Family Business
