Flambert appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
Flambert attended a personal briefing of Purnel's Auto-Reverse Defence, or PARD, by Professor Purnel himself. After being informed of PARD's capabilities, Flambert asked to see the blueprints for final approval, but Purnel took him to see the cost analysis elsewhere first. Zeke Heilmann, Purnel's assistant and secretly a spy, took the opportunity to steal the plans. To a Power Unknown!
