- Border Flats is a city from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Border Flats is a small town.
Fiction
Marvel Comics continuity
On Christmas, the Border Flats townspeople did the usual holiday revelry, only to have the Autobot Advance Surveillance Unit show up and try to participate. The sight of giant alien robots did nothing but put fear in the townsfolk, and the Transformers were forced into clumsy manoeuvres—namely, falling onto the buildings. The chaos and destruction were reported on television.
The television reports were picked up by Optimus Prime's team of Powermasters, who set out to stop who they thought were rampaging Decepticons. After checking out the scene at Border Flats, the Powermasters sought out the perpetrators, only to discover that it was a misunderstanding when they met up with the Surveillance Unit. Cold Comfort and Joy!
