Dr. Harding took a phone call informing her that her solar energy satellite was going to be launched that same day. As she looked over the blue prints one last time, a voice over the intercom announced that enemy Autobots were attacking the building. Hound and Ratchet, under the control of Megatron's personality destabilizer, smashed open the door to Dr. Harding's office. Concluding that the Autobots were after her satellite plans, Dr. Harding broke the window, leaped out, and fell several stories onto a patio umbrella that broke her fall.

The Autobots continued the chase, forcing Dr. Harding to hide in a dumpster. Just as Hound was about to crush the dumpster like a soda can, Jazz arrived on scene. Hound tossed the dumpster at Jazz, spilling the contents onto the ground along with Dr. Harding. Jazz distracted Hound while Sparkplug attached a magnetic attitude exchanger to his leg, bringing him back to normal.
As Dr. Harding tried to get away, she ran into evil Ratchet, who demanded the blueprints. Jazz used another attitude exchanger to save Dr. Harding and Ratchet from himself.
Later, when all of the Autobots were turned back to normal, Dr. Harding listened as Jazz filled everyone in on Megatron's plan. Dr. Harding impressed upon Optimus Prime how necessary it was that her satellite be launched. Attack of the Autobots
