Fiction
The Transformers cartoon
When Galvatron was hurled out of Unicron's body by Rodimus Prime, The Transformers: The Movie the Decepticon leader eventually splashed down in one of Thrull's plasma pools. The plasma bath made Galvatron more powerful than ever, but also rendered his logic circuits highly brittle, driving him insane.
After learning his location from Unicron's databanks and collecting some energon cubes from their fellow Decepticons, Cyclonus and Scourge went to rescue their master from his imprisonment. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 1 After violently attacking his own troops for attempting to steal him away from his "kingdom of desolation", cackling wildly all the while, Galvatron left Thrull. After taking off, he paused a moment to destroy the planet for no reason at all. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 2
Galvatron's pretty crazy.

Notes
- Dreamwave produced a poster of Galvatron emerging from his lava bath on which the planet was misspelled "Thrall".
- Either Hydran and Thrull are extremely close to Cybertron, or Rodimus Prime is able to hurl other Transformers faster than the speed of light. Maybe that's what Stan Bush meant by "You've got The Touch".
Foreign names
- Japanese: Thrull (スラル Suraru)
