Nightscream does happen to know the meaning of "quiet", he just does everything he can to avoid it. He's a rebellious, obnoxious, rambunctious little troublemaking punk whose speech synthesizer always seems to be cranked to eleven. Many are amazed at how well his quiet, professional-minded Autobot partner Airazor puts up with him... and are even more amazed when they discover that despite his attitude and vulgar behavior, Nightscream is outright devoted to her. Maybe there's hope for him yet.

While driving in car mode, Nightscream can emit a high-pitched sonic scream that scrambles audio circuits, and if he's going fast enough, even cause physical damage to nearby objects.

• Airazor with Nightscream (Deluxe, 2003)

A redeco of the Street Speed Mini-Con Team Oval, Nightscream transforms into a Saleen S7 luxury car. He was only available with the larger Autobot Airazor.

This mold was also used to make Flat-Out and Plug. It was intended to be used for Energon Brakedown, but was ultimately unreleased.
