Some of his better known anime and video games roles include Harima Kenji in School Rumble, Impmon/Beelzemmon in Digimon Tamers, Japan in Hetalia, Katsuya Jonouchi (Joey Wheeler) in Yu-Gi-Oh! and Ryu in later Street Fighter games. He also sang the Dragon Ball title theme, "Mystical Adventure!".

  • In a behind-the-scenes short article published in the June 2010 issue of Hyper Hobby at the start of the Japanese broadcast of Animated, Takahashi stated that during voice recording for that series, his body still reacted involuntarily to the mention of Starscream's name. Apparently, his role from Beast Wars II is still haunting him. How very like Starscream. [1]
