The Loyal Subjects is a company that makes vinyl figures, among other things. Most of their Transformers vinyls are based on the Generation One animation models of the characters, but there are some figures that take design elements from the original toys.

Wave two increased articulation, giving the figures ball joints. This upgrade made a substantial size difference between waves one and two. Wave two also had existing characters as the chase figures, whereas wave one just had special 'dark' variants of characters from the set.
