Triac is a Mini-Con from the Energon portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Bingo is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons who help the Autobots search the galaxy for pure Energon ore, part of Barnstorm's Elite Flying Corps. That is, until Unicron turned her into the evil Triac.

Ask Vector Prime

While scouring the galaxy for energon ore, the Elite Flying Corps had the misfortune to encounter Unicron, who reformatted them into the evil Apocalypse Brigade Mini-Con Team. Bingo became the warrior Triac, so named for her ability to briefly create two genetronic duplicates. Ask Vector Prime

Triac is a redeco of the Mini-Con Thunderclash, transforming into a Cybertronic gunship. He was sold as part of the third Micron Booster assortment in Japan, in individual, blind-packed boxes so you did not know which Mini-Con you got until you opened the box and opaque black plastic bag inside.

The same mold is also used by Flashdrive/Processor and Barnstorm/Saber.

Notes

• Bingo/Triac was not established as female until a 2015 entry of the Facebook version of Ask Vector Prime.
• Triac's stock photography shows her with a much darker purple than the final toy.
