Not many people know this, but Chalk once secretly video taped Eric Stoltz having sex and as a result was broken in two by a giant fly monster.[1]

  • He has voiced Optimus Prime/Primal in more episodes than any other actor.
  • Chalk is the first (but not the only) actor to voice both an Optimus Prime and a Megatron (but in different series).
  • Chalk was interviewed as a special feature for Madman Entertainment's Beast Wars season 3 DVD box set and also provided audio commentary.
  • Inspired by David Kaye, Garry Chalk gives Christmas greetings, partially in character as Optimus Primal. These can be found on his good friend, Candice Santora's YouTube channel.[2] Candice is also known to help in the writing of the greetings and carols from time to time.
  • Chalk did not return to voice Optimus Primal in Power of the Primes, but did give his approval to Ron Perlman's casting.[3]
  • At TFCon Toronto 2018, Garry revealed he had also auditioned for the role of Rattrap however he agreed that Scott McNeil was simply better in the role.
