Command Ravages are a model of stealth-based Terrorcon drones who battle both the Autobots and Decepticons for precious energon.
Fiction
Energon cartoon

During a raid on Jungle City, Alpha Q created a new stealth-type breed of Battle Ravage drones (along with "Shadowhawks Desert Type"). This enabled them to approach the installation without setting off any alarms. Unfortunately, the stealth-capable Terrorcons couldn't fool Kicker Jones and his unique sensitivity, and the young boy alerted the Autobots to the invasion. When Megatron arrived with his Decepticons and Terrorcons as well, the Autobots initiated a scorched earth policy, wiping out Jungle City, its energon deposits and, presumably, all the Terrorcons as well. - Energon Command Ravage is a redeco of the Battle Ravage toy, transforming into a robotic predatory cat. He comes with a pair of clear-plastic "energon" cannons, one that fires a spring-loaded missile, the other a non-firing accessory that greatly resembles the fusion cannon used by Generation 1 Megatron. These two pieces can be combined to form an "ultimate energon weapon". He also comes with a clear-plastic "energon chip" which can be attached to pretty much every new-mold Energon toy. His beast mode tail can also detach to become a hand-held flail weapon.
- This toy was first released in the Takara Super Link line as the "Command Jaguar Desert Type", featuring peachy-tan accent paint. This release had a much smaller run than the normal Takara "Command Jaguar". The later Hasbro "Command Ravage" is nigh-identical to the Takara release, except it uses metal-flake gold paint instead of tan.
Notes
- The Battle/Command Ravage mold is clearly a homage to Generation 1 Ravage.
- The non-firing gun/scope energon weapon piece is modeled after the scope/cannon of Generation 1 Megatron.
- Being a redressing of the original Battle Ravage, Command Ravage's CGI model used in the cartoon appears to either be flipped or the weapons of the model were designed for the opposite sides of the beast mode when compared to the actual toy, which is somewhat strange as the weapons can be found on the correct sides in robot mode, à la Animated Bumblebee's racing stripe. It is unknown if an older prototype of the toy existed where the weapons were able to connect on opposite sides or whether the animators were just given reversed toy images to work from. The robot mode model still has the weapons placed on the respective shoulders, which suggests the later may have occured. The Planet Q natives also suffered this fate.
