When Vigilem destroyed the Tether and left Cybertron's orbit, the Technical Specialists were tasked with hunting him down aboard Lodestar. They brought an imploder along as a precaution, something that made Lodestar and her Cityspeaker Lightbright extremely uncomfortable. After finding Vigilem docked at the colony of Hexagon, things escalated and Lodestar was forced to engage the rogue Titan. Despite a heavy combat refit, Lodestar was still in danger of being overwhelmed by Vigilem, and Lightbright reluctantly ordered her partner to use the imploder. Enclosing it in her fist, Lodestar punched the imploder into Vigilem's torso and activated it. Lodestar lost her arm in the process, but Vigilem's body was ripped asunder and his shredded remains drifted into a nearby star. Light/Star

War's End Part Two Ordered to the Canyons by Megatron, Skywarp discovered the fortress and the imploder, claiming it for the Decepticons, War's End Part Four and using the threat of it to hold the Autobots' position until Megatron arrived to speak with Optimus Prime.
