- Burn Out is an Autobot Velocitronian from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Burn Out is a Velocitronian citizen with designs on public office via her planet's primary "election", the Speedia 500. She may not be the fastest, or the strongest, but she's got determination, and that's... something.
Fiction
2019 IDW continuity
Burn Out took part in the Speedia. Tread & Circuits Part 2 She evaded Mayhem's onslaught, taunting the participants of the ensuing brawl as she did so. Unfortunately she did not win. Didn't even come close, if we're honest. Maybe next time, Burn Out. Tread & Circuits Part 3

- Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection "Diaclone Universe Burn Out" is a redeco of mainline Legacy Deluxe Class Skids with a new head that closely resembles that of Crosscut, as well as additional red and silver shoulder decals. She transforms into an approximation of a Honda City Turbo, based on the black version of the Diaclone "No. 9 Honda City Turbo" toy. She comes with the exact same Energon axe and weapons as Skids.
- Burn Out was exclusive to Walmart in the US, with Hasbro Pulse receiving limited quantities of the figure. The Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection went up for pre-order on July 2022.
Notes

Bottom row: an unnamed red Skids and Reboost
- Burn Out is based on the black coloration of Honda City Turbo (ホンダ・シティ・ターボ), the Diaclone toy whose blue version was used to create Generation 1 Skids. The Diaclone mech was later characterized as "Burn Out", from where this character takes her name.
- The black version of the Honda City Turbo was considered for inclusion in the Generation 1 line long enough to be used by Takara in a preliminary 1985 packaging mural.[1] (Said mural featured other oddities, such as the red Honda City R which would eventually inspire Reboost.)
- The official product description for Legacy Burn Out reads "He may not be the fastest, but Burn Out is determined to win the Speedia 500." The use of "he" is obviously an error, as Burn Out was explicitly referred to as a fembot by the Hasbro team throughout the Hasbro Pulse livestream revealing her new figure, rather straightforwardly mirroring the original Timelines mech's female pilot.[2]
