Notes
- As a series heavily inspired by '80s pop culture, it's only natural that Stranger Things tips its hat to Transformers.
- In the first episode of the third season, "Suzie, Do You Copy?", one of Dustin's toys brought to life is a vintage Ultra Magnus figure, which has been slightly modified (by way of tape) to add a set of motorized wheels underneath his robot feet... however, as the third season is set in 1985, this means that Dustin somehow got an Ultra Magnus the year before he was actually released. Oops.
- In season 5 episode 3, "The Turnbow Trap", Derek's bed uses 1984 The Transformers bedding. His Optimus Prime pillowcase is used to cover his head later in the episode.
- Dark Horse Comics holds the comic book license for the series.
- Other properties Stranger Things has crossed over with include LEGO, Monopoly, Fortnite, Magic: The Gathering, Minecraft, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (both as a toy line and in a comic released with IDW Publishing).
