The Optimus Experience is the title of a tie-in web site created as part of the promotional campaign for Revenge of the Fallen, promoted by a flyer enclosed with the DVD as the ULTIMATE INTERACTIVE 3D EXPERIENCE!

Site access requires one to aim a web cam at the package of the DVD. In a well-lit room. On a computer with the Total Immersion D'Fusion Web Plug-in. Which you must install. And activate. Manually. And hope it doesn't crash. Don't have a web cam? Too bad, kiddies!

The "Amazing Holographic 3D" activities unlocked by this elaborate process include:

  • Solving a puzzle to rebuilt part of the AllSpark
  • Detail views of Optimus Prime's weapons
  • "Battle the Decepticons alongside Optimus Prime"
