Wipe-Out
Wipe-Out attended to the Decepticon Trypticon in Generation 1 continuity
Effective a warrior as he is, a lumbering beast like Trypticon is about as far from stealthy as you can get. That's where Wipe-Out comes in. This small Decepticon has a baffled engine for quiet recon work ahead of the slow-moving Decepticon.
Unlike most Decepticons, Wipe-Out is not in awe of the immense Trypticon, instead mocking him to with a hyperbolic obsequiousness. "Trypticon, your immenseness, sir." Wipe-Out's cheeky attitude seems to cheer the otherwise isolated Decepticon.
Wipe-out is armed with a grease gun. It's not clear what use this was for a spy, possibly one of Wipe-Outs duties and Trypticon's all-purpose attendant included lubricating his immense joints.
Wipe-Out appears to ride around inside Trypticon while in dinosaur mode.
Fiction
Marvel Comics US
Wipe-Out arrived on Earth with Trypticon, who had been sent to directly attack the Autobots' Headquarters, the Ark.
Trypticon sent Wipe-Out to scout for any possible interference while he prepared the attack. Wipe-out encountered Rachel Becker, a human student drawn by dinosaur tracks left recently by the Dinobots. He brought her to Trypticon, who was delighted with the chance to destroy something he'd never destroyed before.
The Dinobots, uncharacteristicly, attacked to save Rachel, and Wipe-Out was destroyed by Snarl.
Wipe-Out's death didn’t seem to concern Trypticon much, or he may have just been distracted by Slag setting his head on fire.
Toys
While no toy of Wipe-Out was ever made, he was based on the same toy mold as the Autobot Tailgate, with a different character model.
