Takeshi Aono

Takeshi Aono (青野 武 Aono Takeshi, June 19, 1936-April 9, 2012) was a veteran seiyū who was born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido; he was affiliated with Aoni Production.

He is perhaps best known for the roles of Shirō Sanada from Space Battleship Yamato, Kami from Dragonball and Dragonball Z, Rihaku from Fist of the North Star, Dakuan from Ninja Scroll and as Dr. Wily in several Mega Man games for the Playstation.

Takeshi Aono passed away at age 75 of an aoric aneurism.
