The Protectons are one of two races that live on Skalorr in Xobitor universal streams. They are at war with the other race, the Terrakors.

Formerly a rase of industrious, insular organics, the Protectons were forced into underground hibernation after their sun went nova, along with the Terrakors. When a radiation leak damaged their original bodies beyond repair, the Compu-Core transferred some of their essences into a quintet of robotic bodies, granting them spark-analogues.

Their leader is a bloke named Argus. Other Protectons include Nara, Boltar, Jerrok, and Bront.
