After a particularly stressful sequence of events, Spike took a leave of absence of 36 hours from his partnership with the Autobots. Although he did use some of that time to do some explaining to his superiors about the situation at hand, he also took the liberty of visiting his "female friend." As Spike was saying goodbye to her, he was attacked by Breakdown. A police car and Spike took off after the Decepticon, though Spike was sure to order his "friend" to "get back inside" before he left. Police Action #1
