Blur Studio is a 3D animation and visual effects company based in California. It was founded in 1995. Work by Blur Studio includes animated shorts such as "In the Rough" and "Gopher Broke", the latter of which was nominated for an Oscar. They also created game trailers and cinematic for games including Batman: Arkham City, Dragon Age: Origins, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Mass Effect 2, and Halo 2. In the movie world, they've provided special effects for the likes of James Cameron's Avatar, the title sequence to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and the original test footage for the Deadpool movie directed by studio founder Tim Miller.

Blur Studio are responsible for the cinematic cut scenes from Transformers The Game and the opening cinematic from War for Cybertron.
