Caleb Awan

Caleb Awan is a Dire Wraith from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

On the surface, Caleb Awan is a technological genius and co-founder of DeepWave Technologies. In reality, he is the leader of the evil Dire Wraiths present on Earth.

Fiction

IDW Generation 1 continuity

Wraith-Caleb struck a deal with Miles Mayhem, agreeing to help him dominate Earth in exchange for being supplied with Ore-13. Once a sizable cache of the stuff was discovered beneath Autobot City in Monument Valley, Mayhem informed Caleb, who powered up with his last piece of Ore-13 and led his Dire Wraiths in an attack on the city, fighting its defenders alongside Mayhem's M.A.S.K.. He soon revealed that he had no interest in working with the humans and turned on Mayhem, however, forcing the latter to call upon his other ally, Baron Karza of Microspace. Caleb was unimpressed by the miniature villain, only to eat his words when Karza used his Enerchange ability to absorb him and all his Dire Wraiths into his own body. The New Colossus

• It is ambiguous whether "Caleb Awan" was a human who was killed and replaced by a Wraith or if the identity was created wholecloth by said Wraith.
