From MediaWiki
- Salt-Man X is an Autobot from the toyline portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

- Transformers Salt-Man X is a redeco of the Jumpstarter Topspin, transforming into a Cybertronic spaceship. He features a pull-back motor in vehicle mode that propels him forward on smooth surfaces; after a short run the latch that keeps his spring-loaded legs releases, causing him to flip forward and into upright robot mode.
- He was sold in a number of color schemes; the one shown on its box art has red limbs and white body, but it was also available in green limbs and off-white torso (Brazil) as well as green limbs and bright white torso (Argentina). Some Argentinean versions of the toy have unchromed silver-plastic rifles rather than the normal chromed version.
- Like most of South American Transformers, Salt-Man X has poor-quality paper decals that are prone to losing their adhesiveness in short order.

Notes
- Salt-Man X and Salt-Man Z's names are based on "jump" in Portuguese and Spanish, saltar being the verb and salto being the noun.
