• Morshower is a Marine in the film. In Alliance, the novel adaptation, and the comic adaptation he is an Admiral in the Navy.
• In the adaptation comic, Admiral Morshower is wearing the uniform of a three-star US general. He is supposed to be an admiral. Also, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is either a four star general or admiral.
