One of Lomax's employees that did collections for him, Joey Slick, failed to report in with his collection money, so Lomax sends two other goons to collect. The goons report back without the money but with an incredible story about being shot by lightning bolts by Slick. Enraged, Jake sends more of his goons to make sure they finish off Slick. Not even the affections of Charlene are able to cheer him up.
Those goons are not able to stop Slick either and Lomax reads in the newspaper that Slick has been highly successful on his own at robbery. The army is not even able to stop him. This makes Lomax more furious than ever.
Later, Joey slick pays Lomax a visit at his mansion. Slick gains entrance by blasting the guards and making a general mess of the architecture. When Slick confronts Lomax, Lomax is so impressed with his skill with his weapon that he drops his own gun and begs not to be shot. Slick pulled the trigger on his gun but it didn't go off. Slick threw the gun down and punched Lomax's lights out but pays off his original debt. Meanwhile, it turns out that when Lomax's weapon hit the ground, it corrected a malfunction and gun then proceeded to convert into a giant robot. The robot did further damage to Lomax's estate by blasting his pool before walking off. Shooting Star!
