Drill Bit is a Gigantion Mini-Con from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
More of a corkscrew, really.

Drill Bit is the personal attendant to the Gigantion leader Metroplex.

Drill Bit was working with Metroplex at Gigantion's main construction site when Optimus Prime and his team arrived from Cybertron. He detached from Metroplex to greet Six-Speed and the other returning Mini-Cons from the Autobots, and even threw in a few good hugs for their human friends as well. He's a happy guy, that Drill Bit. Giant After Metroplex joined the Autobots, Drill Bit and his partner teamed with Optimus Prime, Vector Prime and the Mini-Cons in taking one of four possible paths deep underground to find the Cyber Planet Key of Giant Planet. While exploring the ruins of Gigantian, Drill Bit, Bud Hansen and the other Mini-Cons uncovered a lost Mini-Con city. They also ran into Scourge, who attended Bud's "leadership seminar" with them. Scourge After reaching the Lemuria at the core of Giant Planet, Metroplex was forced to fight the renegade Gigantian Menasor. Their battle ended when Drill Bit and Menasor's Mini-Con Heavy Load lept in the way, forcing their bosses to reach a peaceful resolution. Their efforts were successful, and so Menasor and Heavy Load joined the Autobot effort. Optimus

Drill Bit transforms into a Cybertronic (Gigantian?) twin-drill machine, using the same general bodyform-engineering as the Armada Leader-1 toy (the mold is entirely new, though). In vehicle mode, he can attach to the bucket-shovel portion of Metroplex's "Sparkdrinker" axe. He is only available with the larger Metroplex toy.
  • Megalo Convoy Gold Version (Leader-Class, 2005)
An entirely gold-chrome-and-gold-plastic version of Metroplex and Drill Bit was made available as a contest-prize in a currently-unknown Japanese magazine, as part of the same contest as an all-gold version of Master Megatron. Fifteen Metroplexes were awarded.
