"Leftfoot's assistant" is a woman working at British Motors. Specifically, she works at the head office in Canada for the company's CEO, Leftfoot. She owns a white van and has quite some mad driving skills. She also seems to be wearing a bindi, but for what reason is unknown.

The assistant welcomed Ginrai when he visited the head office of British Motors and served him a drink in the lounge as he waited to meet Lightfoot. Her looks and fragrance got Ginrai's unsubtle approval. Lightfoot: A Dramatic Encounter
Some time later, the assistant welcomed two reporters—in actuality Hydra and Buster in disguise, out to take Leftfoot hostage—to the head office and brought them to the CEO.
