Founded circa 1905 in Cleveland, Ohio, American Greetings produces greeting cards, birthday cards, seasonal cards, and other such gift-related products. The company also created or owns the rights to several properties, such as the Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Maryoku Yummy, and Twisted Whiskers; many of these properties currently have shows airing on The Hub
