Rockbuster is a Maximal from the Beast Wars Neo portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

A former soldier in the Maximal army, Rockbuster chose to leave to fight the Predacon threat on his own. He was formerly teamed with Big Convoy and the two were considered an unstoppable duo. He remains one of Big Convoy’s best friends and they look up to each other as equals. He is a wandering warrior who fights whatever Predacon menace he encounters and does so with deadly efficiency. While he chooses a life of solitude, he periodically looks in on his old pal, Big Convoy, to see how he’s doing.

Rockbuster was available either individually (C-33) or in a two-figure "Versus" pack with Hydra (VS-33).

Aside from his rubsign, this figure is indistinguishable from the redeco of Kenner's Razorclaw figure (available only as a pack-in with a VHS tape containing two of Mainframe's Beast Wars episodes: "Aftermath" and "Coming of the Fuzors, Part 1").
