Notes
Animation and technical errors
Continuity errors
- How do Luskey and Alper not go flying when the Rescue Bots catch the boat?
Continuity notes
- Woodrow recalls the time he was encountered the tree people of Tatui, a callback to the film The Natives of Tatui which appeared in "The Alien Invasion of Griffin Rock".
Transformers references
Real-world references
- Woodrow's line about bats being very moody just might be a sly reference to Mark Hamill's long run as the Joker in various Batman media.
Trivia
- Like "The Riders of Midwinter", this episode was held back from being played during the rest of season 2 in the United States. While in the other episode's case it was so it would play around the actual midwinter, Chief Woodrow was later simply slotted into the middle of a series of season 2 repeats a few weeks later.
