Bearbrick

This article is about Bearbrick, the toyline based on building block like bears which convert into familiar Cybertronians. For Hasbro's current line of building block based transformers, see Kreon.

Bearbrick (rendered Be@rbrick) is a collectable Japanese toyline made by MediCom Toy Inc. The toys come in the form of building block style bears, often designed after popular culture figures such as superheros, like Batman, or in the case of this article, Transformers.

Toys

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Transformers franchise, several toys were released through the bear brick line. All of them used the same mold, either redecoed or retooled. They also fall into the Bearbrick size rating of 200%, which is 14 cm or about the size of a deluxe class figure.

Wave 1

• Optimus Prime
• Megatron

Wave 2

• Bumblebee
• Starscream

These two use the same new chest mode not used for Optimus or Megatron

Wave 3

• Age of Extinction Optimus Prime

This one was released in 2015, unlike the others which were released in 2014
