Twin

Transformer twins often share a closer connection than other forms of Transformer relatives.

Sideswipe and Sunstreaker were fraternal[1] twin brothers.[2] Fiction at the time never explored the details of this relationship, or if there was such a thing as identical twins.
Prowl and Bluestreak were most likely twins, judging by their similar body-type, though Smokescreen shares the similarity as well. Triplets, perhaps?
Roulette and Shadow Striker are twins, or perhaps even triplets with their perished sister. Roulette and Shadow Striker have the same body-type, but what makes them twins is unexplained.
Later fiction (incorporating the concepts of sparks and protoforms retroactively) revealed that brothers were formed when a spark that was being introduced to a protoform naturally split. More Than Meets The Eye

Aligned continuity family
- Skyquake and Dreadwing. According to Dreadwing, twins in the Transformers Universe are formed from a "split Spark", a phenomenon in which the spark meant to create one Cybertronian splits and creates two Cybertronians. This results in the twins having a much closer relationship than non-twin Cybertronians could ever have. Dreadwing stated that he actually felt when Skyquake died, and thus his vendetta against the Autobots is much more personal than any other Decepticon.
