- 1945 — Writer Arthur Sellers is born.
- 1984 — The first known newspaper advertisements for the the original Transformers toyline offer Autobot Cars for $8.99 USD (approximately $18 in today's money). No rainchecks, limit two per customer, minimum 300 per store.
- 1990 — The Super-God Masterforce episode "A Friendship is Born" premieres in Malaysia.
- 1998 — The Beast Wars II episode "The Tentacular Scuba" premieres in Japan.
- 2003 — The Battle of the Star Gate #3, "Activation", is published in Super Robot Magazine #13 in Japan.
- 2004 — The Transformers — Collection 3: Series 2.2 is released on DVD in New Zealand by Madman Entertainment.
- 2008 — Transformers Animated: Season One is released on DVD in the US by Paramount Pictures.
- 2009 — IDW Publishing's Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac is released to stores, as is our collective joyjuice. All Hail Megatron #14 is also released, to a great deal less enthusiasm.
- 2010 — Final day of shooting in Chicago for Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
