Borer attended a meeting of the Lost Light's crew called by to celebrate the fact that they had achieved something—more than six months after setting off from Cybertron for the second time, they had finally caught up to Thunderclash's ship, the Vis Vitalis. They were invited aboard to attend a "pre-wake" for the legendary Autobot hero, who had succumbed to his injuries and was lying at death's door. The Sensuous Frame

Having left the Lost Light to attend a "pre-wake" for Thunderclash on board the Vis Vitalis, Flex, Skater and Borer realised that the Autobot leader's affliction was actually being caused by parasitic personality ticks from Marasma, unwittingly brought aboard by Firestar and the other Camiens. After deducing that enough concentrated charisma in one place would cause the creatures to overload and self-destruct, they called Rodimus and Megatron over from the Lost Light, killing the personality ticks and saving the day.
