Talk:The Original Transformers
Blockbuster Exclusive release
[edit]How should the Blockbuster exclusive release of More Than Meets The Eye be named on the Wiki? Since there's no subtitle, I would think the correct page name would be "The Original Transformers (VHS Tape)" or something with a similar disambiguation. That then requires this page to be deambiguated (according to Help:Disambiguation). But what to use for the disambiguation? "Home Video Series" is the only thing I can think of that makes the meaning clear, but it's kind of long. --Tigerpaw28 14:33, 11 September 2009 (EDT)
- I would think that a VHS release of just More Than Meets The Eye wouldn't warrant a page of its own at all. --KilMichaelMcC 14:43, 11 September 2009 (EDT)
- Cosmic Rust and Aerial Assault are also on the tape. And having just taken the tape out of the sleeve, I see the tape itself is labeled "More Than Meets The Eye". For what that's worth. --Tigerpaw28 14:49, 11 September 2009 (EDT)
- I'd say we have the page. We have pages for The Key to Vector Sigma and The Return of Optimus Prime despite the fact that they are just the two-parters. With Cosmic Rust and Aerial Assault being on it that makes it warrant its page more. For a title, I think I'd go with "More Than Meets the Eye (Rhino)". Then we can say this is a done deal. --Bluestreak7 01:24, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
- I like that page title suggestion, though the word "the" needs to be capitalized. Any one else have any objections or agreements? --Tigerpaw28 19:39, 18 September 2009 (EDT)

There's no reason for any of the individual tapes to have their own page, basically because there's really nothing you can say about them. Plus, no other home video distribution company on the wiki has separate pages for each of their individual releases. In fact, even this page should probably be folded into the Kid Rhino page. Scratch that, it's way too big now. - Magnus Maximus 06:34, 10 October 2009 (EDT)
- For what it's worth, you could just put the info on the tapes on the relevant episode pages. Takeshi357 (talk) 10:11, 13 September 2015 (EDT)
Season 3 volumes
[edit]Were the S3 DVD volumes 4, 5 & 6 released along with the S3&4 box? I can't find them on Amazon US at all. - Magnus Maximus 10:10, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
