Astrotrain is part of the villainous Dominus Trannis. He is the team leader built upon the reformatted Railspike.

Astrotrain was created when Megazarak used the Robo-Smasher to implant shell programs into the members of Team Bullet Train. Together with Loco and Steamhammer, he formed Dominus Trannis. Aside from being the team leader, Astrotrain also has the limited ability to transwarp thanks to the ground bridge system that was incorporated into his exostructure. He can even use this ability to bring his team with him when they are hitched. Ask Vector Prime

• His personality was very much like that of Generation 1 Astrotrain. He probably isn't a Triple Changer like his counterpart though.
