Wideload is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Unicron Trilogy and Generation 1 Continuity families. His name is sometimes spelled Wide Load.

Wideload is a member of the Demolition Team, a trio who use their engineering skills and raw strength to destroy Autobot installations with ease.

Part of the first wave of Classics Mini-Cons, Wideload transforms into an "earth-mover" dump truck. He was only available with his teammates Broadside and Sledge.
This mold was used to make Refuser, Universe Knockdown, Mighty Dozer, and Heavy-Liftor.

Notes

  • Wideload, like all of the Classics Mini-Cons, was originally intended to be released in a Cybertron-series Mini-Con two-pack. It is currently unknown what his original name and affiliation was going to be.
  • The hand-painted sample pictured on the back of the Demolition Team's card has different paint applications than the actual final product, most notably giving him a purple helmet (watch it) and painted vehicle-mode headlamps.
  • The stock photo has also mis-transformed his lower half, showing the backs of his legs. Oopsie.
