Shrapnel (シャープネル Shāpuneru) is a breed of Insecticon under the control of Lockdown. With Bombshells, Shrapnels are used in mass numbers to reduce cities to rubble.

Shrapnel is a redeco of Generations Skrapnel. He transforms into a robotic interpretation of a stag beetle. His chest has been remolded to have a circular indent for a insignia-sticker, which is intended to function with the Transformers Adventure app.

Notes

• Though his name is rendered as "Shrapnel" on the toy packaging, the Japanese reading is pronounced like "Sharpnel", Generation 1 Shrapnel's Japanese name.
• Like Bombshell with Hardshell, his relation to Sharpshot from the same continuity family is unknown.
