Renegade Rhetoric
After traveling to Axiom Nexus from somewhere in the Aurex cluster, Odd Ball and his fellow members of the Instigation Mini-Con Team grew tired of getting kicked around. They were receptive to Cy-Kill's message of violent reform and pledged themselves to his cause.
Cy-Kill found him quite unpredictable, and though a slow and steady partner like Blockhead might temper him.
Eventually all of the Axiom Nexus Renegades, including Odd Ball, fled the current time period with the help of Gong, going to a time and place unknown to menace Guardians and Cybertronians alike. Renegade Rhetoric

- Odd Ball, like all of Cy-Kill's Axiom Nexus recruits, never made an appearance in the Challenge of the GoBots cartoon.
- Odd Ball and his fellow Mini-Con recruits are all Wendy's-exclusive toys.
- The Wendy's toys were among the only GoBots to have bios, bios which his portrayal in Ask Vector Prime draws from.
